Car Cleaning Steps

With the days beginning to get longer and warmer, this makes it the perfect weather to drive your car with the windows down. But what could be more annoying than driving with your windows down while in your dirty car? Trash is just flying everywhere! It ruins the entire experience. Here is the easiest way to ensure your car gets cleaned and stays cleaned.

1.) Throw away the trash

The first thing you should do is remove any trash or clutter that you have building up. This already makes it feel like your car is so much cleaner!

2.) Organize any departments

Either it’s your glove department, center console, or even the trunk, but having full awareness of where everything is in your car will make your life so much easier. It also creates a cleaner look inside your car.

3.) Wipe EVERYTHING

You would be surprised how much dust and other gunk you have building up in your car. You would want to clean your dashboard, seats, cup holders, steering wheel, mirrors, etc. A cheap and car-safe brand that has wipes for any interior item is Armor All Cleaning. However, it is best to use microfiber towels.

4.) Vacuum

You want to vacuum last in case any gunk gets brushed onto the floors. Before vacuuming, remove all of the floor mats and hose them down. You can do both of those for cheap either at a gas station or self-cleaning car wash.

5.) Car wash

The final step is to clean the exterior of your car. If you can, try cleaning it yourself as automatic car washes can be extremely damaging to your car. Using a microfiber towel after washing your car gives it the slickest outcome!

If you are someone who dreads cleaning their car, hopefully these brief steps show you that there is not too much work to do. Play some music and enjoy the time cleaning your car.
